Project description
The psychooncologic study SECOM assesses the influence of regularly performed self-efficacy coachings on disease progression and disease management in patients with breast cancer.
Self-efficacy is the ability to cope with difficulties in daily life. As part of the self-efficacy coachings individual abilities and qualities of the patients are identified, which can support disease management, and a concept for self-help is developed. Oncologically, the patients are treated according to the current oncological standard. Goals of SECOM are quality of life and therapeutic benefit (rate of recurrences) of patients.
